About

At heart, I’m a kid. As curious about the world as I was 20 years ago. I’m a lover, a poet, a cerebral thinker, and a dreamer. I see all experiences as opportunities to learn and grow.

I’ve started this blog after years of thinking about it. My aspiration is to share my philosophy on sustainable training principles to help you gain a greater understanding of how to approach your own training practice. I believe in the importance of context and intention. I believe in the value of adopting the appropriate mindset. I believe that the people we spend time with impacts our mindset and aspirations. I believe reflecting on the environments and lifestyles we adopt are crucial to understanding the best way forward when we’re looking to make a change. I believe that recovery (from everyday stress or physical trauma) is mandatory before we train – in order to benefit the most from each session. To me, training is the cherry on top, the treat we earn the opportunity to experience, once we’ve created a beautifully sound foundation to grow from.

Train intentionally. Move freely. Live with purpose.
